Locker Project
Our first ever project was to decorate a locker and put things inside that represent you. I decided I wanted to be different and I made the lockers pink and decorated the entire slide.

Personal Logos
For this project we had to make logos so we could watermark all our future projects. I'm pretty pleased with how my logo turned out and I'm excited to use it.

Animated Flipbook
This was probably the most tedious project that I have done for this class so far. My flipbook was called Doodle Create and it's basically about playing a video game where you make a character. By the end of it, it turns out that I was playing it all along and I get stuck in the video game.

Voting PSA
We were entered into a video contest that had to do with voting. We were tasked to film and edit a PSA about voting and what it meant to us, why it's important, and the 3 different ways you can vote. I worked with Darrius and Jaydin. This was our first time working with a professional filming camera. I think our PSA came out alright, but the one on the left was the video we actually submitted and the one on the right was one with bloopers in it. Unfortunately, we didn't win, but Carly did win 3rd place!

Class Intro
Every year, Mr. Grillo tasks the Media Production class to make a class intro about our class. It's basically taking a TV show intro and making it your own by introducing all the students from your class. My intro was from the show, Gravity Falls.

Music Video
This was more of a fun video project which was to create a Music Video. The song I used was from the band called, The Marias and the song was called, "Baby One More Time." I decided I wanted to recreate the Music Video that they had already created with the rest of the class. This song was a cover from one of Britney Spears' songs. I thought it was pretty funny to edit so I hope you enjoy!

Blended Covers
We had to use different videos of the same song and use Premiere Pro to Transition back and forth to make it sound like one whole song. The song I used was Ruthless by The Marias. (If you can't tell already I love The Marias) This was probably the easiest project I've had to do.

Holiday Postcard
In the spirit of Christmas, Mr. Grillo assigned us a new project which was to make a Holiday Postcard. We needed full body pictures of each other and edit ourselves into a Christmas themed Postcard on Photoshop. My Postcard that Darrius gave me the idea of was to have us on a Christmas themed beach and me sitting next to a snowman made out of sand. In the background I had Darrius, Sean, and Jaydin on a boat while Kel was drowning. I thought it was pretty funny.

Lip Sync
For this project we had to pick different videos of the same song and edit it while using the original audio to make it look like the covers are singing the real version. The song I chose was Cariño by The Marías. If I'm going to be honest, this wasn't my best work considering that I had a hard time with it, but I do like the song so hopefully you enjoy it!

Storybook IRL
Mr. Grillo wanted to challenge us with this project that normally wouldn't do until Sophomore year. We had to bring our favorite fairy tale/nursery rhythm/children's storybook to life. I choose Sleeping Beauty.

Same Song Mashup
For this project, we had to use Adobe Audition to use different songs and have at least 2 songs playing at once while switching back and forth with it. For me, it was the hardest project I've had to do so far because I'm not very good at lining up audio and my audio didn't turn out the best, but I tried. The song I chose was "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight)" by ABBA.

RBRHSTV News Intro
We had to create a new intro introducing the new RBRHSTV
with new equipment that had to be 30 seconds long. I think mine came out pretty decent.

Same Word Switch
We had to use Adobe Audio Audition and find 7 to 8 songs that have a common word between them, but the lyrics had to make sense. I personally liked this project better because it was easier for me than the other audio project.

Editing is Everything
We had to re-edit a movie to create a new movie trailer in a different genre than the original trailer. This idea is based on the YouTube channel, Editing is Everything, that's why this project is called that. I chose to do Jennifer's Body which was originally a horror movie and I turned it into a romance movie.

Filming is Everything
For this project, we had to recreate a movie trailer. I chose to recreate The Breakfast Club. It came out nice!

Red Carpet
The Red Carpet is a big event for the Media Production Academy. It's a night where the entire Academy and some family come and watch videos that we've created. For this project, I worked with Jaydin to make a fairy tale/nursery rhythm/children's storybook to life which was Cinderella. I'm extremely impressed and happy with how it all turned out and couldn't have done it without Jaydin :0

Red Carpet Poster
Using Photoshop, we had to create a Movie Poster highlighting our Red Carpet Movie. It was hung up at the night of the event. Each person in our group had to create one. I think I liked how mine turned out.

Video of Choice
For our last project of the year, we could decide what we wanted to make. I decided to make a trailer for Cinderella Untold, but honestly didn't completely like how it turned out. Enjoy anyways and hopefully you enjoyed my other freshman projects! This year was fun <3
